LIMITED EDITION Sage from the Taygetos Mountains!
Sage belongs to the labiates family. Originally sage comes from the Mediterranean region, but is now cultivated throughout Europe. This evergreen herb is suitable for seasoning meat and fish and tastes delicious with pasta dishes. Sage is also said to be antibacterial and disinfectant effect and helps with sore throats or inflammation of the mouth. The sage leaves can also be infused as a tea.
LYSOs Herb Garden
In 2020 the LYSOs Herb Garden project was created by Waltraud
Sperlich and Eva Maria Lang with the aim of integrating people with
disabilities into working. The focus here is the organic cultivation of local
herbs and further processing and packaging by people with disabilities. The
employees of LYSOs Herb Garden have been previously trained on organic farming
in the 3-year LYSOs Garden training program in Kalamata, Greece since 2016.

MANI Bläuel
For more than 40 years, the MANI Bläuel family business has
been a pioneer of ecological-social business. Appreciation, ethical motivation
and lived sustainability are the "basic ingredients" for the
enjoyable MANI olive specialities. The sustainable corporate philosophy
continues in the support of the Lysos Herb Garden project. Around the Bläuel
production site in Greece, 30,000 square metres of farmland have been made
available to the social project. Mediterranean herbs have been grown and
processed here since 2020. The first herbs have now emerged from the joint
cooperation and are placed on the market through the MANI channels.
