Kaspressknödel are a traditional Austrian dish, a type of dumpling that's particularly popular in the alpine regions. These savory dumplings are made from a mixture of bread cubes, milk, eggs, and flavorful additions like onions and cheese (typically robust mountain cheeses), and herbs. In our unique take on this classic, we infuse a Mediterranean twist by incorporating olives and feta into the dumplings and serving them with a side of refreshing tzatziki. This fusion brings a delightful contrast of flavors, blending the hearty, comforting essence of the Alps with the bright, zesty notes of the Mediterranean. The result is a dish that's rich in texture and robust in flavor, offering a comforting meal with an unexpected and deliciously tangy edge.
